Overview

N-[4-(benzyloxy)phenyl]glycinamide is a synthetic small molecule belonging to the class of alpha amino acid amides. It acts as an inhibitor of leukotriene A-4 hydrolase, an enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of leukotriene B4, which plays a role in inflammation. The compound has been studied experimentally but is not approved for clinical use and has no known marketed indications[3][2][1]. Its primary mechanism is inhibition of leukotriene A-4 hydrolase.
